Syrian Shawl for a Syrian Bride

This is my favorite knit of all time. Working with Kidsilk Haze (shade 634) is like knitting with a strand of an angel's hair. It is so light that it is like holding air. This shawl was given to the bride and I brought it back home to finish up the Cypress border. The bride loved the gift and so did the guests. Some times you just don't know how a hand-made gift will be received. When Amanda put the shawl on it looked like gossamer - really lovely even unblocked and unfinished. I hope to finish it up this week and post a completed photo.
